Overview

The New School contracted SapientRazorfish to redesign their online presence, address usability issues, and attract young innovators to their new cohorts.

Context & Challenges

To address the needs of undergraduate, graduate, and international students, the team redesigned the site from top to bottom. Wireframes included the course catalogue, academic and school information pages, course of study pages, and dozens of content pages.

My Role

As a senior UX designer on a team of 6, I designed many of the project’s responsive wireframes and built mobile and desktop prototypes for several days of comprehensive usability testing. I also prepared and presented competitive and best practice research findings to the client.

RESULTS

The team's responsive interaction designs formed the basis for The New School's redesigned site and information architecture. The university's stakeholders used our comprehensive research and findings to code and create visual design for the new site in-house.
